I just switched from OS X, so I imported all my stuff from ical and such. in
iCal it was a recurring event. It might not even be an evolution problem, it
could very well be an apple problem with them not fully supporting some
standard, so I should not be too harsh on you guys.
Just created an event (take car in for service) selected recurrence, clicked
the checkbox, and selected every 3 days for 4 occurances, saved it, deleted one
randomly and it worked fine, when I go back and uncheck "this appointment
recurs" and try to save it, Object ID already exists (i think I already
reported this bug and you commented on it too. Bug #39622).
So it looks like the recurrance is okay, for people just using evolution and
not importing from ical and such, so, should this bug be closed? idk if there
is anything anyone can do about a bug in other software.
