This bug was fixed in the package gnome-applets - 2.25.2-0ubuntu1

---------------
gnome-applets (2.25.2-0ubuntu1) jaunty; urgency=low

  * New upstream version:
    General:
    - Fix the build with recent libpanel
    - Rationalise include files
    - Check for the existence on NetworkManager
    CPU Frequency Applet:
    - Fix switching between graph and textmodes
    - Fix orientation sizing issues (lp: #289680)
    - Fix compiler warnings
    Keyboard Switching Applet:
    - Fix a leak.
    Mixer:
    - Change the orientation of the volume control and add a mute and a
      "volume control" button
    Multiload:
    - Report total bandwidth in the tooltip rather than percentage since
      the later number is meaningless
    Stickynotes:
    - Reduce I/O by batching configuration saves
    Weather Applet:
    - Use NetworkManager signals and check the weather when the network
      comes back up  (lp: #50115)
  * debian/control.in:
    - build-depends on network-manager-dev
