You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Version: Ubuntu 8.04/8.10 (lastest updates)

I'm able to connect to a WebDavs (SSL) folder via Nautilus, I can see the
content of the root folder, but I'm not able to navigate into subfolders (when
I double click a subdir I obtain: "Error: HTTP Error: Moved Permanently. Please
select another viewer and try again.").
I tried to connect to the webdavs folder with either trough "Connect to Server"
(via custom location) and Nautilus location bar. (ie. davs://mywebdavserver.com)

The odd thing is that if once the connection is established I switch the
Nautilus view to List, I'm able to browse the content of the
subdirectories (and even copy file from any subfolder to the local
system) expanding the tree by clicking the little triangle on the left
of subfolders.

If I try to access subdirectories by double click on them or writing the full
location I get the error above.
I get the error if I try to upload a file into a subdirectory using drag and
drop in List view. (uploading works fine if I upload to the root directory
thought).
I get the error if I try to download a whole subdirectory instead of a single
file.

The webdav folder is managed by apache with mod_dav. It used to work
properly with Debian sid and still works in Ubuntu via cadaver.

I'm willing to provide further information if needed.
Cheers,
nivox
