Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: file-roller
Steps:
Gnome desktop, ALT+F2
write file-roller
Push New
Select a place for a 7z file and a name that ends with '.7z'
Go to Edit/Password
choose a password
Push "Add folder"
Select a directory
Wait a moment and close file-roller
open the created file with nautilus, gnome-open, or command line
CTRL+E
Imagine that you don't know the file has been created with password
choose a place to extract the file and press Extract
file-roller will try to extract the file and then give an error dialog OR
will be "thinking" too much time (right bar working)
File-roller should show a dialog asking for the password
More info:
* the file can be extracted with "7z x filename.7z", then putting the password
*
$ apt-show-versions | grep 7z
