Binary package hint: totem
I just tried to play a .ogg file, a .mpeg file, and a .mp3 file in Totem
and none of them will play. I get a message saying "An error occurred.
Could not get/set settings from/on resource.".
The error message needs to be more useful (I'm not sure what it's trying
to say) and I'm not sure what the problem is. If it were just a missing
codec, it would tell me and go looking for suitable codecs (at least, it
did in hardy).
I've installed all available updates to date. On a Samsung Q35 laptop.
** Affects: gst-plugins-base0.10 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Fix Released
