I had this bug on hardy. I solved the problem by editing the following
settings via gconf-editor:
/apps/vinagre/
window_width = 100
window_height = 100
window_state = 0
Now vinagre is working again.
For me it seems that the window dimensions are set too big when this bug
happens.
