single 160gb disc on acer laptop in 4 partitions. 1st partition is for windows
vista, 2nd rescue boot, 3rd data, 4th ubuntu 8.10
Vista explorer cannot access or create files and new folders. ubuntu can see
'my documents' etc. but cannot access or see files in the folders. Attempt to
create file or directory results in this message "Error opening file
'/media/ACER/Users/MikeB/My Documents/new file': Operation not supported" error
