NO, therefore I uninstalled Linux.  I tried with PC-BSD but the
problem is the same, the system gives "access denied" to the contents
of DVD.

I believe the cause of this problem is that the DVD contains so many
documents on the root  and the file systems used both GNU/Linux and
FreeBSD cannot process this situation.
