Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Using Ubuntu jaunty (current) on amd64 on a Thinkpad X200s, when I close
the laptop lid the GNOME theme gets somehow corrupted: Some aspects of
it, like the title bar colour and icon theme, but not other settings,
are changed.
The correct settings are restored by merely opening the “Appearance”
settings dialog.
Expected behaviour: The theme should not be changed when the lid is
closed.
This is a regression (it did not occur in the version that was current
around Christmas), it also happens in a guest session, and the resulting
appearance does not match one of the preset themes available in GNOME.
In Preferences → Power Management, the action for “when laptop lid is
closed” is “blank screen”.
** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
