Binary package hint: evince
evince hangs when opening pdf or ps file, started from the commandline,
all I get after about 20 minutes ist

network connection is ok, and, by the way, why should evince need a
network connection to display a simple pdf created by latex.
the behaviour started a few days ago, Using 8.10 all updates are applied
