In Evince the german translation Menu -> File -> Properties is wrong. "Properties" schould be "Eigenschaften", not "Einstellungen". This is very misleading, because "Print setup" is also translated as "Seiteneinstellungen" (which is probably OK). I constantly click on the wrong menu entry, because of this ...
