I changed my Video Monitor to Veiwsonic Model N1930w (a Widescreen (16:9), high
resolution17 inch TV and monitor). Now when I play MPEG4 movie files either
through Totem or VLC movie player, there are flashing lines on the screen.
This does not happen on a older square LCD monitor.
I am using the updated Ubuntu Intrepid.
