Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
If I try to assign a combination of a multimedia key and a modifier in
gnome-keybinding-properties, the multimedia key without modifier is set
instead. On the other hand it is possible to use gconf-editor to assign
such a key binding.
for example: when I try to assign "ctrl+XF86MediaPlay" to "next song",
"XF86MediaPlay" is assigned instead. However setting
/apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/next to <Control>XF86AudioPlay
works correctly. If I open gnome-keybinding-properties after I assigned
the key, it shows the correct value, "ctrl+XF86MediaPlay".
