Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
After today’s Jaunty gtk+2.0 2.14.5-1ubuntu2 -> 2.15.0-0ubuntu1 upgrade,
gnome-screensaver can no longer unlock the screen. When I enter the
correct password, gnome-screensaver-dialog just sits there displaying
“Checking...”. top shows that the CPU is spinning, with about 65%
gnome-screensaver-dialog and 35% Xorg.
I can only reproduce this with the line “export GTK_IM_MODULE=xim” in my
~/.gnomerc. (I need this so that I can use a custom ~/.XCompose file.)
