Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
When trying to edit and save changes made to a recurring appointment in a Google Calendar through Evolution results in an "Unknown Error" message box to appear, resulting in no changes being made to said appointment. Steps to reproduce: 1. create appointment on thursday 2. Set recurrence to anything (I chose 4 times once a month) 3. Save 4. Try to edit appointment (I changed an alarm) 5. When you try and save, choose any of the options for recurrence (I tried multiple). 6. A message box appear that says "Unknown Error", with no error code. 7. Closing the windows prompts to save or discard. Save button does nothing. Discard does the obvious. >From what I can tell this results in the changes to the appointment not being >saved. I looked in the system logs but could not find anything helpful. I could be looking in the wrong place. Again, this is editing an appointment to a google calendar that had been added through evolution.
