Mr. Michele Mangili, yes, I can ear the status sound of my machine. So I can ear the sound from 'Sound recorder', 'ZynAddSubFX', Skype but not from Rhytmbox. If it is of any use to you, I want tell you that I had sound problems with this machine as reported in Bug# 320063. They suddenly disappeared, perhaps as result of some Update. I just tried to play a CD with Rhytmbox in another PC with AMD64 processor with the same result: No Sound. Yours, Gaetano Arena
