Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution
I am using Ubuntu 9.04 with evolution 2.25.90 in my office. We have a
GroupWise server. Evolution crashes whenever I move a message from the
inbox into another folder. These are the messages:
wkuba...@wkuballa-desktop:~$ rm -rf .evolution/
wkuba...@wkuballa-desktop:~$ evolution
** (evolution:13733): DEBUG: mailto URL command: evolution %s
** (evolution:13733): DEBUG: mailto URL program: evolution
calendar-gui-Message: launch_alarm_daemon_cb(): Unknown CORBA exception id:
'IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0'
(evolution:13733): libegroupwise-WARNING **: e-gw-container.c:208: found
container with no name
(evolution:13733): libegroupwise-CRITICAL **: e_gw_container_get_name:
assertion `E_IS_GW_CONTAINER (container)' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
wkuba...@wkuballa-desktop:~$
If I start evolution without deleting ".evolution", it either fails
right away, or it does not receive any messages. The console messages
are:
wkuba...@wkuballa-desktop:~$ evolution
** (evolution:14041): DEBUG: mailto URL command: evolution %s
** (evolution:14041): DEBUG: mailto URL program: evolution
calendar-gui-Message: launch_alarm_daemon_cb(): Unknown CORBA exception id:
'IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0'
(evolution:14041): camel-groupwise-provider-WARNING **: Could not
connect..failure connecting
I can reproduce this crash very quickly.

Werner
