Brightness Applet
1 Using Intrepid Ibex
2 can't find packagename when I type in "apt-cache policy packagename"
3 I expected it to just adjust the brightness
4 Whenever I try to use the brightness applet, the slider pops up on screen,
then won't go away until I slide all the way to one extreme. After that, when I
click on any menus, they won't drop down. Keyboard input appears to be no
longer recognized as well. When I try to shut down, I get a message that an
application is still running "GNOME power management".
