Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor
there is only one choice for screen resolution, i,e, 640x480
I am using Ubuntu 8.10 It was installed from a dvd disc that came with the
book.
A Practical Guide to Ubuntu Linux. The Linux is on a hard drive with no other
operating system. If I do a live install on a computer with Windows XP on the
hard drive the desktop comes up with 1280 x 840 resolution
