Binary package hint: evince
I installed a Brother all in one to my Ubuntu 8.04 and the printer
drivers worked great. I then installed the scanner drivers, and it
prompted me to install CUPS. After that, I open any PDF file and Evince
gives me "Unable to open document - Unknown MIME type. What happened?!
