Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
In hardy, no matter that "Copy" was bound to Ctrl+Shift+C, this did not
interfere with entering a Unicode character by hex digits using the
sequence "Hold down Ctrl+Shift, type U, followed by hex digits, release
Ctrl+Shift".
In intrepid and jaunty, the keybinding blocks entering the hex digit C
as part of the code.
It would be preferable for keybindings to be skipped whilst in the
middle of a unicode hex sequence entry.
** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
