I think gerard wants to know if it is possible to PERMANENTLY disable the caps lock by pressing the Shift key once? This was possible on older versions of Windows and some people are used to it.
It was not obvious to me that the Shift key only temporarily cancels the caps lock. Shouldn't the behaviour descriptions be more clearer then?
