AFAIK, file-roller isn't displayed by default in the menu because there is no need to. (There is actually a launcher in the Accessories sub- menu, but it is hidden by default).
Even without that launcher, there is no need to press Alt+F2 and run "file-roller". Just right click on any file (or group of files) that you want to archive, and select "Create archive" from the context menu. ** Changed in: file-roller (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist -- File-roller is not on any menus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/335589 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to file-roller in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
