Binary package hint: totem
Totem fisly wouldn't play DVD without GStreamer plug-in. Plug-in was
downloaded (ugly version) and attempt was repeated. When asked to play
DVD movie the application went a dark shade, then closed after a minute.
I restarted computer and tried again. Totem again went black when asked
to play DVD but didn't close out. This happens if I open the aaplication
by right clicking on the DVD movie applet or when I open the application
first and then ask to play DVD. this is with Totem Movie player 2.24.3
with GStreamer 0.10.21 and new ubuntu linux. I have no experience with
Linux so don't know the source package.
