I am attaching two screen shots...one from a good machine (version 8.10)
and one from the new 9.04 install. Note the lack of log off and shutdown
menu items on the 9.04 machine.

Ubuntu better. However, where exactly do you miss the menu items? Can
you provide a screenshot? Further, I guess this problem should be markes
