Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager

My keyboard has keys for volume-control and muting. BUt unfortunatly,
not matter what I set in the gnome-volume-control applet, the keys
always control the first channel on my soundcard (which happens to be
neither PCM nor Master, but headphones). This renders the keys pretty
much useless if you don't use headphones. Any way to tell the shortcut
which channel to control?

** Affects: gnome-volume-manager (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed
