I can confirm this bug. If deskbar is in my panel configuration, the panel will not load completely, and does not respond to clicks. Killing deskbar-applet returns the panel to normal, but there is no way of using deskbar. If I try adding deskbar-applet to a running panel, deskbar- applet is started, but nothing appears on the panel. The rest of the panel works fine until it is restarted. I don't use the freenx server, or Xgl.
