Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xchat-gnome

Hilighting a word in the xchat-gnome main chat window brings up a
context menu with only one item: "Copy". I would like to see integration
to other GNOME applications, offering items such as "Lookup in
dictionary" and "Search for word in the Web". The latter could use
either your Epiphany smart bookmarks, your Firefox search plugins, or
just make a simple Google query.

For a good implementation of this functionality, see Gajim.

I am using Ubuntu 8.10 and xchat-gnome 0.24
