Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libgtk2.0-0
The lower-case "m" of DeJaVu Sans Mono is one pixel wider than the other characters when rendered with Pango (on font size 12). That's not the right behaiviour for a monospace font. To reproduce, copy the following into gedit: bla | blam | The two horizontal lines should be vertically aligned, but they aren't. I'm using Ubuntu 6.06 with all updates from 24 May, 2006. ** Affects: gtk+2.0 (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed -- Pango renders lower-case "m" 1px too wide with DeJaVu Sans Mono https://launchpad.net/bugs/46406 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
