Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon

Ubuntu Jaunty alpha 6

1. Advance to the "Who are you?" step of the installer.
2. Enter a password of fewer than eight characters.
3. Choose "Forward".
4. In the "Use weak password?" alert, choose "Go Back".

What actually happens:
* The second password field is focused, with none of the password selected.
* An error message appears next to the password field, "You entered an empty
password, which is not allowed", which is completely untrue.

What should happen:
* The first password field is focused, with the whole password selected.
* No extra error message should appear.

** Affects: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
