Binary package hint: rhythmbox
The programme often freezes and hangs and sometimes crashes, as we all
know. However, while making a playlist it froze up and had to be forced
to quit on several occasions. One of these times, when I opened it up
again, all my music has horrible distortion on it. It sounds like the
bass, but the EQ on my sound system isn't helping. I'm getting a better
sound quality from FM radio on the same sound system. So I can deduce
the distortion begins in the PC's audio output. I've restarted rhythmbox
and rebooted to no avail. Is there an EQ or something that I just can't
find?
I'm using 8.10 intrepid ibex.
