I have the same problem here. I am using the latest version of Dapper
(with Serpentine Version 0.6.91-0ubuntu3).
The console output gives no useful information, because the error it shows
occured before I clicked "Write to Disc":

The exact error message that serpentine shows is:
Converting files failed
Writing to disc didn't start so it is still usable.
Would it help if I would provide the file that causes the error?
