Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evince
Evince Document Viewer 2.24.1, using poppler 0.8.7 (cairo) under Ubuntu 8.10
evince:
Installed: 2.24.1-0ubuntu1
Candidate: 2.24.1-0ubuntu1
I just was finalizing my U.S. Tax Returns and came across a very nasty
bug. When I doublechecked the printouts that I wanted to send out, I
noticed that the check box fields checked differed from my selection. I
checked my PDF forms and it turns out that, if I open them with Acrobat
Reader, everything looks fine. However, Evince Document Viewer 2.24.1,
using poppler 0.8.7 (cairo) under Ubuntu 8.10 gives the wrong selection,
resulting in a bad printout, which almost caused me to file bad forms.
