Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-keyring
If I try to ssh to a single machine at a time, I am signed in automatically using my ssh key. If I try to ssh to multiple machines at the same time, I get the following error: Error reading response length from authentication socket. Error writing to authentication socket. Error writing to authentication socket. Password: If I do a 'ps ax | grep gnome-keyring' I get no results. When I say that I am sshing to multiple machines at the same time, I have tried both using 'cssh' to connect to several hosts, and also opening up 5 tabs in gnome-terminal and rapidly pasting in 'ssh [email protected]' to each tab. I am not entirely sure how to find out what's wrong with the gnome- keyring-daemon as I don't see any errors in syslog. ** Affects: gnome-keyring (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Simultaneous SSH attempts cause gnome-keyring to crash: Error reading response length from authentication socket. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/352921 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-keyring in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
