Thanks for your bug. That happens because
/usr/share/applications/eog.desktop lists "image/x-psd" to the MimeType=
list, either eog is supposed to open that format or the .desktop should
not list it, in any case that's an eog bug, reassigning. I've forwarded
the issue upstream: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343052
