after the latest updates of intrepid several things stopped working for
me. The first is pidgin but i filled a bug entry on that. The other
thing is that gnome-power-manager hangs the whole gnome panel... this
is, hangs other applets like brightness applet of my laptop and
sometimes i can't even drag windows but the mouse moves ok, i noticed
that gnome-power-manager icon dissapears and i go to Ctr+Alt+F1 to a
text terminal and killall gnome-power-manager and return to the graphic
terminal and everything is fine.... may be some library messed up? the
same with pidgin... can't chat anymore... hangs up when incoming
message.
