Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evince
Ubuntu 8.10, "Document Viewer 2.24.1"
I have certain keyboard shortcuts I set up in System -> Preferences -> Keyboard
Shortcuts for controlling the media player (Ctrl+Alt+P = Play/Pause,
Alt+Shift+RightArrow = Next Track, Alt+Shift+LeftArrow = Previous Track).
Whenever I open a document in evince (mostly PDFs, but I don't think it
matters), those shortcuts stop working until I de-iconify Rhythmbox (the media
player) and re-iconify it.
Let me know if you think this is a Rhythmbox bug (although I don't see how it
would be), so I can report it there.
The shortcuts are disabled even if I minimize evince or even if I'm on another
desktop where there's no evince window.
