Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
I'm using 8.04. The top & bottom panels have ceased to appear after
loggin-in and have found no way to restore them. Having originally
installed a Terminal icon on the desktop, using it is the only way I can
close-down without turning the power off. I use removable HDDs each of
which is devoted entirely to a single OS.
