I followed the steps for obtaining a valgrind log - but I want to point out that, even for my core2duo E8400 with 8gb of ram, the performance of pidgin running through this is ridiculously horrible. This bug is only reproducible after long periods of running. But, anyways, I left this going during the night and woke up to discover my entire Xsession crashed. I'm not sure what the cause was, but here is the logfile generated.
