The audio seems to "freeze" randomly when playing music or streaming
audio from applications which use Gstreamer, in this case, those
applications being "Songbird" and "SecondLife". Sound freezes on other
media players that I have tried such as Rhythmbox and Banshee. Freezes
have become more and more frequent. I am using Ubuntu 8.10. The fact
that all the applications that cause the sound to freeze rely on
Gstreamer gives me cause to beleive that that is where the problem lays.
