Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot
A Beagle service ("Notify Beagle on image changes") is active by default in F-Sot Photo Manager 0.5.0.3-1ubuntu6. Ubuntu doesn't have Beagle Search Tool in default installation, so there is no reason for the service to run (despite consuming system resources). Solution: Go to: Edit/Manage extensions/Services and disable the Beagle service by default or uninstall (delete) it in the F-Spot Ubuntu package. ** Affects: f-spot (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Jaunty] Useless service active by default in Ubuntu F-Spot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/360356 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to f-spot in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
