I've tried getting a backtrace, but the stack seems to be disappearing every time Totem crashes (very, very unusual). I've attached its output in various configurations, all of which seems to be essentially the same.
lspci reports the video card to be a '01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV11 [GeForce2 MX/MX 400] (rev b2)'.
