Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
In jaunty daily build of MID edition from today, I am trying to work in a gnome-terminal session and noticed that shift-ctrl-t does not open a tab, but instead returns the error: Couldn't execute command: uxterm -fa Monospace -fs 12 Verify that this command exists. I also tried opening a tab from the menu, and that works, but doing it with the hotkey does not. I attempted to try it again after installing the xterm package, and it does behave differently, but still not correctly. After installing xterm, pressing shift-ctrl-t results in another terminal screen being opened, but it is just a large xterm screen rather than a gnome terminal session, and it is NOT opened in a tab, but rather as a full screened window. gnome-terminal version is 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 xterm version is 241-1ubuntu1 ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- shift-ctrl-t fails to open tab on MID https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/361283 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
