Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

I have created a number of filters. And in general, they are working
fine. But, I just noticed something for the first time.

Evolution 2.24.3
Ubuntu 8.10 - The Intrepid Ibex - released in October 2008
Linux kernel image for version 2.6.27 on x86/x86_64
gnome Version: 2.24.1

What I expected to happen was that when emails, whether they are in a
folder or incomming from the pop3 server from my ISP. I expect to be
able to hit control-y to have the emails filtered.

what it is doing is filtering the emails to the correct folder and I can
see it there but then I look at the trash and I also see it there.

I can see the same results when I right click on the email and select
'move to folder', it moves it and then I see a copy in the trash.

Is that normal?
