On Jaunty beta, as of gnome-themes-ubuntu 0.3:
When selecting any theme in the Appearance dialog, they only apply to
the dialog itself and not to Gnome as a whole. It will not change
icons, window decorations, or the GTK theme. I have tried deleting all
my Gnome-related settings and even creating a new test-user account, and
it still happens. I'll attach a screenshot and an .xsession-errors file
from the newly-created user account.
I apologize if this isn't the correct package, it seemed like a logical
place to start though.
