Hello,
I tried to mount/access the CD drive using the gnome-mount -v -b -d
/dev/scd0 and got the following error message:
gnome-mount 0.8
** Message: Drive /dev/scd0 does not contain media.
At the time when I tried this command, I had already inserted a WinXP
installation CD. I also tried this command with an Acronis boot CD but
still got the error message above as well as a pop-up error box -
"Unable to mount media". The CD drive does spin up when I placed these
discs in the drive but trying to mount them always seems to fail.
Please let me know if there is something else I can try or if you need
additional logs/information.
