Hi Sebastien, This makes me feel like a fool! Last night Evolution was behaving exactly as I described in the Bug report(368445) and also a repeat performance tonight so I filed the bug report seeing it was quite reproducible. Now basically as soon as i did, the problem disappeared :( It's now working perfectly. I admit I'm confused and feeling very foolish :(
