For a good number of times, whenever I reboot using GNOME's reboot GUI
options, after the splash screen appears at shutdown, system is stuck in
a black screen. I do not know if it will shut down eventually but
whenever it happens, after waiting for about 30 seconds, I just force
shutdown my machine.
I do not know if this happens to shut down too, though. I rarely shut
down.
I'm not sure on the package concerning this.
This never happened to me in versions previous to Jaunty.
