Public bug reported:
When trying to open a file that doesnt exist, gedit fails with
"Could not find the file /home/...." There is no option to create the file.
This is totally inconsistent with the mor rational behaviour when trying
to do the same from the command line: In this case gedit opens nicely
with an empty file. This should be the standard behaviour also from the
GUI.
