Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution
Dear friends,
Evolution doesn't check whether the system is online or not - it just
tries to check for new messages, etc.
Evolution has an "off-line mode" which can be switched manually.
I think that it should be expected that Evolution checks, like Firefox
does, for example, whether there's an internet connection or not and
adjust it's off-line/on-line mode accordingly.
If it will do this, many "error connecting" messages would be avoided.
Many blessings.
